PSYCHOSOMATIC

They are those disorders that can be observed at a physical level, but do not respond to organic (medical) causes, but to psychological reasons. There is a great variety of psychosomatic disorders and each person can manifest them in a different way. These disorders are a concurrence of biological, contextual and psychological factors.

When people are subjected to large amounts of stress, anxiety and emotional discomfort and, in addition, in a prolonged manner, hormones such as adrenaline or cortisol are released, the emission of some neurotransmitters is destabilized. All this, maintained over time, is what causes the physical symptoms or manifestations that, as we see, have their origin in the psychological plane.
